Trixi holiday park

'Gute Stube' - the tip for a trip to the Zittau Mountains

The 'Gute Stube' is part of the Trixi holiday park and is open to holidaymakers and locals 365 days a year. In 2018, the new Waldstrand-Hotel Großschönau opened in the Trixi holiday park and with it the buffet restaurant 'Gute Stube' and the coffee bar 'Kämmerchen'. The modern ambience with cozy seating areas and fireplace harmonizes with the natural materials wood and stone and creates a special charm. In a fast-moving world, the Trixi holiday park wants to offer families a place in every configuration where guests can enjoy themselves together and have good conversations.

The family used to meet in Grandma's “good room” in the half-timbered house. Today she meets in the 'Guten Stube' in the Trixi holiday park. Guests can look forward to a varied buffet for breakfast and dinner. The dishes are both modern and traditional. Bohemian cuisine can also be found at the buffet, as well as vegan and vegetarian creations. Fresh coffee, crispy rolls, homemade salads, boiled and fried scrambled eggs, muesli and yoghurt with various variations invite you to breakfast.

The little room is like grandma's coffee table at vesper time. The coffee bar with regional and seasonal offerings invites you to have a coffee or a beer with a snack. There is also a homemade piece of cake. Egg pies, crumble cake or the in-house Trixi cake are particularly popular. For lunch, guests are offered a small menu with Upper Lusatian specialties. Seasonal and regional food is served bite-sized and served on the plate. And of course there is also dessert.

After the little ones have snacked on the children's buffet, they pass the time in the play and painting corner or on the large sports and play area with bouncy cushions and climbing frames while the adults are still talking.
Excursion tip: A family outing doesn't have to end abruptly after dinner, the Trixi pool, the sauna area and the climbing forest are leisure facilities right next to the restaurants and hiking trails start right on the doorstep. Seize the day!
