From professional ice hockey player to family doctor
A lot is possible in the ice hockey town of Weißwasser/Oberlausitz This becomes clear again using the example of Sebastian Klenner. He left town a few years ago as a successful professional ice hockey player. He is now returning as a family doctor. His heart still beats for his hometown and for the Lausitzer Füchse . That's why he was happy to be the face of a campaign that was launched by the Saxony Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians, the city of Weißwasser and the EHC “Lausitzer Füchse”. The enthusiasm specifically for the “Lausitzer Foxes” is intended to draw the attention of medical students or doctors in further training to the Weißwasser region.
Doctors Network East Saxony
The East Saxony Medical Network is the sponsor of the East Saxony continuing education network in the area of promoting young talent. This coordinates the specialist training of young doctors with the clinics and doctors authorized to provide further training. The Doctors Network is committed to recruiting doctors for our region and to collegial communication between doctors in East Saxony. The network doctors are committed to providing comprehensive support to young doctors during their specialist training and until they decide to set up their own branch. They see this as an important contribution on their part to maintaining medical care in eastern Saxony.
Nursing Training Association in the Görlitz District eV
“Together we are strong.” Under this motto, the nursing training association would like to ensure the nursing care of residents in the Görlitz district. The goals of the training association are primarily to advise and support providers of practical nursing training in order to create information and planning security for all potential training companies and to highlight the attractiveness and prospects of the nursing profession. The prerequisite for this is close networking and trusting cooperation between the training companies, the vocational schools and the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. In addition, the training association would like to increase public interest in training to become a nursing specialist through a variety of measures and activities.
Hospital Academy of the Görlitz District
The Hospital Academy is the central medical vocational school for the Görlitz district. Up to 360 training positions are available here. Training can begin in March and September. Here, the learners learn the theoretical basics of the nursing profession. The close connection to the training companies and the good cooperation with various practical facilities make practical training possible. Trainees can acquire practical skills and competencies in hospitals, outpatient and inpatient care or rehabilitation facilities. The training contract is concluded directly with the hospital or retirement home.
